Spring HaikuA soft breeze sweeps through
Pale cherry blossom petals
Carrying my tears.
Broken Temple Cradled by forest
And gentle whispers of wind
Songbirds softly call
A solitary temple
A broken shrine so patient

A stone goddess waits
Flowers adorn her figure
A smile on her lips
Arms outstretched to weary souls
Butterflies rest on her hands

So long forgotten
By all but the falling leaves
That ever praise her
And her sacred resting place
Hidden by nature's children
One minute past twelveLuscious shoe-lace skies
Tied in a mint moonlit bow;
Open this next day.

NightThe darkness of night
Made complete obscurity,
Then comes daylight.
TimeRiver flows frozen
Birds like to dance in the sky
Another year past
Watching Dragonfly.Perched with watching eyes,
An iridescent, dark blue
Dragonfly just stares
Valentine's SeasonValentine’s season
Full of happiness and love,
Rain falls silently.
Seasonal HaikuA sparkling moon:
Shimmering in the water,
A glittering eye.

I feel the wind blow—
Blushing bright autumn colours
Turning of new leaves.

Frothy white waves soothe
Troubled minds. I scrunch my toes—
It’s too cold this year...
Nightthe moon is outside
water rushes from the sky
my universe cries
The Weird Colored Birds.The white and rusty
Brown colors adorning each
Bird mean it's springtime
Haiku - Springtime!
Hope is in the air

                    The wonders of creation

                                              Can you hear feel the warmth?
Lavender- HaikuLavender smoke drifts
Burning sweetly in my pipe
I am calm, at peace
momentsunny air
spiderweb shadows
soon summer

campfire smoke
cherryflower dance
gracefully now

through the air
like an uncommon melody

For those of us who don't survive
Services needed our souls await
Fare's paid we're here by gate.

River Styx cannot navigate
Ferryman needed, tired of wait
We have received burial rites
Our souls are pure, Charon tonight!

*Fairytale*Took a magic carpet ride
Full of excitment we did glide
Over sea to far off land
Where wizard with wave of hand
Showed us worlds of fantasy
Adventure and of mystery.

Went sailing on 'Spanish Main'
Treasure chest so tightly chained
Jolly Roger hauled up high
Prow of ship with beak and eye
Captain with a wooden leg
Swigging brandy from a keg.

Sinbad the sailor next to meet
Very kindly he did greet
Glad to show us his domain
Here we go.... to sea again
Ocean heaving, lost sea legs
In borrowed clothes, sailor threads.

Flew eastward sadly Aladdin was out
Rubbed the lamp, with major doubt
Genie erupted with ferocious shout
Aladdin had serious ma
*Rose*Sunlight symphony, medieval rose window inspirational.

Since dawn of time when all began
Cannot be seen, never touched
Yet runs beside fleetest man.

Intangible change in state of flux
From day to day presence felt
Influence moulding, guiding life
Perhaps it is our greatest wealth.
